Psalms: Hymns- God's Greatness Extolled in Creation & History
Good Words. Sermon by Steven Ware
Best Father's Day Gifts
Steven Ware shares the best gifts for fathers: a close relationship between father and child; physical closeness, being near to their children at all times; and harmony between all their children, showing love to each other.
Psalms: Thanksgivings- mourning into dancing
The Lament is a cry for help in distress or hardship; and the Thanksgiving is the response after that help has come and the distress is past and the hand of God in it all is clearly seen. It’s the difference between trusting God in the scary darkness – with a white-knuckled grip on faith- and hands in the air, Praising God in the sunshine when it’s over.
Psalms: Laments - Singing the Blues
Of the three types of Psalms there are more Laments [anguished cries for help] than either Hymns or Thanksgivings. That says a lot about the nature of the human experience, the nature of faith, and the understanding of God.
God Stories
There are times when the veil is pulled back and we get a glimpse of God’s hand. There are times when a thing happens that helps us and there’s no earthly reason it should have happened. There are times when the doctor can’t make sense of the healing; times when the check shows up in the mail with the funds you’ve been praying for; times when you pray for the most mundane thing and suddenly you have it. These are God Stories.
Choice
Choice: It is said that on the average we make 35,000 choices a day. God has given humans the free will to choose poorly or well and wisely. Over and over throughout the Bible God gives his people choices first to follow Him and second to follow Him well. He still does today.

Keep These Words
As John ends Revelation he seems to be desperate that we take his message seriously and so he repeats himself over and over: "Keep these words. Keel this prophecy, this teaching. Don't hide them or diminish them or embelish them, KEEP THEM! Keep these words
New Heaven and Earth - Revelation 21
John uses some mind-blowing images to portray the New Heaven and New Earth that God has promised at Jesus' return.
Judgment and Redemption
In Revelation, Judgment and Redemption go hand in hand. Where you find one you will likely find the other. Rev 20 gives us multiple pictures of both with a call to be faithful followers of Jesus to the end.
The Divine Warrior and the Battle That Was Not
The Divine Warrior and the Battle That Was Not
The "Bedazzled Whore" is annihilated. The "Bride" is prepared. And "Faithful and True" comes to begin the process of putting the world to rights.
Easter Sunday 2021

Death is swallowed up in victory. We'll celebrate with scripture, great Easter hymns, a responsive reading and an Easter message entitled: Surprised By Spring or What Death Wants Doesn’t Matter
The Underlying Message of the Little Apocalypse
The Underlying Message of the Little Apocalypse
Between Palm Sunday and His crucifixion Jesus uses the Disciples interest in Herod's Temple to give them a dull but critical message they need to remember. Us too.
