FBC’s RAG begins Tuesday, Oct. 6th 7:00pm at Skip & Rebekah’s [734 Fillmore St.] 

RAG is shorthand for READ ALOUD GROUP.

Reading aloud has always been an enjoyed part of the Cadorette Family life. Experiencing a story or information in a group draws people together.

The format: I’ll pick a book that I'd like to share. We get together and I would read it aloud with you perhaps with a bit of poetry or a short written piece as well. The teapot would be on and possibly some snacks but the main purpose would be listening and thinking and being together. Reading will begin promptly at 7:10pm.

We’ll meet Tuesday evenings through November then break for December and re-group for January. 

Our First book will be Messy Spirituality by Mike Yacconelli.

This is an amusing and honest book with some great stories about the broken people through whom God chooses to work. Its chapters are mostly stand-alone. So if you miss a week you won’t be lost. I’d say the book was best for ages 12 and up.
